Job summary

Shoreham Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed full-time Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will provide in-class support to students with a range of special educational needs.

The Learning Support department is a busy and productive part of the school and has a vibrant team of experienced leaders and support staff. The successful applicant will be expected to provide an appropriate level of support across the school.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
• Able to relate to and establish rapport with students.
• Willing to undergo Enhanced DBS check and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students with a range of special educational needs.
• Support learners across the school as part of the Learning Support team.
