Job summary

Academics is seeking a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Todmorden and Roachdale across KS1/KS2 with diverse needs. You will work 1:1 or in small groups to help children engage with school life and set them up for a bright future.

You’ll gain experience by engaging with different SEND types across multiple schools, with safeguarding at the forefront and flexible hours, plus competitive day rates.

• Confident in working with children and puts their needs first.
• Experience in any school setting.
• Experience with SEND children.
• Safeguarding at the forefront of their mind.
• Quick thinking and good at problem solving.
• Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in KS1 and KS2 with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Engage with different types of SEND across Todmorden and Roachdale.
• Help children participate in school life and set them up for a bright future.
