Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs? Are you looking for a flexible role to suit your availability?

We are seeking a reliable, nurturing and proactive individual to provide 1:1 support to pupils with a range of special educational needs at a Tamworth based school.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff and wider school support team to deliver tailored support in a calm and engaging atmosphere, helping each child to thrive both academically and emotionally.

About the Role:

• SEN Learning Support Assistant – Part time
• Flexible work pattern to suit your availability
• Term time only
• 1:1 Pupil support

• A supportive and collaborative staff team

About You:

• Must hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Ability to work on a short notice (24hrs)
• Confident in working independently in a 1:1 role
• Experience of supporting SEN children and young people within the last 2 years
• Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years, including interactions with children and young people
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
