Level 1 Teaching Assistant
26.25 hours per week
and Midday Supervisor 3.75 hours per week
Permanent Contracts

Teaching assistant Level 1
26.25 hours per week (8.45am-12pm and 1.15-3.15pm) Monday to Friday
Midday Supervisor 3.75 hours per week (12-12.45pm) Monday to Friday

Salary: TA1 £14294 – 14520 (dependent upon experience)
MDS £1979 - £2010 actual

Closing date: Wednesday 28th May, by midday. Visits to the school are welcome along with an informal chat.

Start date: As soon as possible.
Term time - 30 hrs per week, plus 5 INSET days

The School

Bilton Infant School is a nurturing, fun community school with a play-based approach to learning. We are committed to getting to know our children and families well and working closely with them, to meet each child's individual needs. We have set up nurture provision in order to give some of our children time in a quieter environment at some points during the day and are developing Opal Play in our beautiful, extensive grounds.

The Role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will join our team to support the class teachers, work with groups or individuals as required in either EYFS or KS1 and have the skills necessary for working with children with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
We would like to hear from applicants who can help us to deliver high quality teaching and learning and further develop the positive ethos and values which are integral to our school community.

It would be desirable if the successful candidates:
- Have a minimum Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification
- Have prior experience of supporting teaching and learning in a school
- Have previous experience of working in EYFS and KS1 classrooms
- Have previous experience of supporting children with SEND and/or SEMH needs
- Have prior experience of working inclusively
- Hold a current qualification in paediatric or first aid training
