Value Education LTD in Salford is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support early years learners in the Salford area. The role offers a daily rate of £93–£110 and an immediate start.

You will assist the Class Teacher with preparing work, support group and 1:1 activities, work with children with SEN needs, tailor plans to individual needs, and work inside and outside the classroom under the guidance of the SENCO.

Value Education are looking for enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants to work in EYFS we support in the Salford area.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for education, supporting children with additional needs, and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Teaching Assistant Duties:

• Assist the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
• Assist with group activities
• Work with children on a 1:1 and group basis
• Provide additional support to children with a range of SEN needs
• Tailor lesson plans to individual needs
• Work inside and outside the classroom
• Work effectively under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Support pupils with personal care needs when appropriate

Requirements:

• Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
• Able to handle difficult situations and behaviour efficiently
• Experience working with additional needs in a school setting (or similar)
• Experience working in EYFS is desirable
