Job summary

Inspire Education Trust is seeking an ERP Teaching Assistant for Whittle Academy, a vibrant one-form entry school. You will work with the class teacher to deliver targeted work and support children with special educational needs in a caring, structured environment.

Applicants should have a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent, GCSEs in English and Maths, and experience with primary pupils. Strong behaviour management and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

Relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
A good standard of education, including English and Maths (GCSE/Level 2).
Experience working with primary-aged pupils in classroom settings.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
A role model for students, maintaining high standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering specified work and care for children with special educational needs.
Contribute to safeguarding and promote children’s welfare in line with policy and procedures.
Assist in maintaining a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
