Whittle Academy in Coventry seeks an ERP Teaching Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. The role supports the class teacher and works with pupils with special educational needs, in a supportive school environment.
You'll hold a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent, have GCSEs in English and Maths, and bring strong behaviour management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. DBS clearance is required.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic ERP TeachingAssistant to join our school. They will work collaboratively with theresponsible class teacher by utilising advanced knowledge and specialist skillsto undertake 'specified work' and provide care and supervision tochildren/young people with special educational needs.
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about achild, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment andpromoting children's welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and childprotection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by thetrust/academy.
At interview, candidates will be askedfor photo identification and where applicable proof of qualifications. The Appointment is subject to DBSenhanced clearance plus 2 suitable professional references.
