Job summary

INDELSEC seeks a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in a mainstream secondary setting in Elmbridge.

You will work with the SENCo and staff to adapt activities, deliver targeted support, and monitor progress, building strong relationships with pupils, teachers and parents in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff and parents.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and policies for SEN support.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join an amazing school based in Elmbridge, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) within a mainstream secondary school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the SENCo and teaching staff to support students with SEN in the classroom.
• Implement and adapt learning activities and resources to meet the individual needs of students.
• Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN as required, including behavioural, emotional, and social support.

Requirements:
