Remedy Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND provision within a primary school in Barking Riverside.

The role supports a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class with complex needs, including ASD and pre-verbal pupils. Applicants should be confident, energetic, proactive and able to provide intimate care when required.

Competenze

• Previous hands-on experience supporting children with complex SEND.
• Experience working with pre-verbal or non-verbal pupils.
• Confident and willing to provide intimate care - essential.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour and supporting emotional regulation.
• Physically active, patient and able to remain calm in demanding situations.
• A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• This position requires genuine practical SEND experience due to the needs of the class.

Remedy Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND provision within a primary school in Barking Riverside.

The role involves supporting a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class with a range of complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), communication difficulties and pre-verbal pupils.

We are looking for someone who is confident, energetic, proactive and experienced in supporting children with complex needs.
