Job summary

Randstad Education in the Cranleigh area, Surrey, is recruiting an Adult SEN Teaching Assistant to support young people with complex learning needs in an independent specialist school. This full-time, term-time role offers training, progression, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

You'll provide 1:1 and small-group educational and emotional support, assist with personal care and daily living skills, and work with teachers and speech therapists on individual plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN, autism or care environments preferred.
• Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group educational and emotional support throughout the school day.
• Assist pupils with personal care, mobility, and daily living skills with dignity and respect.
• Implement individual education and behaviour plans alongside class teachers and speech therapists.
• Support pupils during active outdoor learning, vocational tasks, and break times.
