Job summary

Randstad Education in the Cranleigh area, Surrey is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for an adult setting. This full-time, term-time role (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) offers £22,000 - £25,000 per annum pro-rata and provides training, career progression, and multidisciplinary support.

You will deliver 1:1 and small group educational and emotional support, assist with personal care and daily living skills, and collaborate on education and behaviour plans with teachers and speech therapists.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SEN, autism, or care environments is preferred.
• Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable.
• Compassionate and resilient attitude is essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

• Characteristics: Patient, empathetic, adaptable, and eager to learn within a supportive team.

• Transport & Commute: Due to the rural location, a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are strongly recommended.
