Inspire EHC Ltd in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs. The role is full-time, temporary to permanent, with pay of £14.40 to £15.60 per hour and start from November 2026 or ASAP.

You will work with teachers and specialists to deliver tailored interventions in a welcoming educational setting. You will assist with one-to-one and small-group support, encourage communication and independence, contribute to positive behaviour

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist educational setting in Bury St Edmunds on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and wider professionals to support pupils with a range of complex needs. You will assist both in the classroom and through tailored interventions, helping pupils engage with learning and achieve their individual goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis
• Assisting with classroom activities and differentiated learning
• Encouraging communication, social development and independence
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Supporting pupils with personal care where required
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families
• Creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
