Job summary

Mears Ashby Church of England Primary School in Nottingham is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to inspire, motivate and support the children in our school. The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3.30pm, with a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027.

Qualifications

• Is confident, resilient, and dedicated.
• Has previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment.
• Has a good knowledge of SEN Provision.
• Has good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
• Has good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
• Has the ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
• Has a personal commitment to on-going professional development.
