Job summary

St Peter’s RC Primary School in Middleton is looking for a dedicated Fixed Term Teaching Assistant Level 1 to work with a named child with Special Educational Needs. This role involves providing 1:1 support and fostering a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess some experience with SEN, be able to communicate effectively in English, and share the school’s Catholic ethos. The position is for 30 hours during term time only, with a contract reviewed in July 2027.

Qualifications

• Some experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is helpful.
• Ability to converse easily with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
