Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group seeks a patient and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced SEN school in Billericay. This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP, supporting pupils with SEN across primary and secondary levels and helping to meet EHCP targets.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with communication and personal care where needed, and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to create a nurturing, structured learning environment that

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach to challenging situations.
• Strong team player with proactive attitude and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to maintain a calm, structured environment.
