Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant in Islington to provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. This long-term, full-time position offers a daily rate of £95-£110 depending on experience and hours, with the aim of consistent support within a primary school environment.

The role involves working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils academically, emotionally and behaviourally, both inside and outside the classroom.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a number of primary schools across Islington who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.

These are ideal opportunities for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children on an individual basis and are looking for a consistent, long-term position within a primary school.

The Role:

• 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant support
• Long-term, full-time opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN
• Experience providing 1:1 support is highly desirable
• Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs
