Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant in Islington to provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. This long-term, full-time position offers a daily rate of £95-£110 depending on experience and hours, with the aim of consistent support within a primary school environment.

The role involves working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils academically, emotionally and behaviourally, both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN.
• Ability to provide consistent 1:1 support.
• Patience and empathy when working with challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support to a pupil with additional needs.
• Contribute to a long-term, full-time placement.
• Offer academic, emotional and behavioural support to the pupil.
