Job summary

Long-Term Teachers Ltd is currently working with a 2-form entry Primary School in the BS22 area of Weston-Super-Mare, seeking Teaching Assistants to support SEN children joining reception in September.

The role requires 1-to-1 support for SEN pupils, with Speech and Language, ASD and ADHD needs. You'll contribute to a nurturing environment, delivering structured activities and assisting the Class Teacher.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND pupils in a school setting.
• Ability to deliver 1:1 support for SEN pupils.
• Experience with Speech and Language, ASD and ADHD needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide structure, engaging activities and adapted support to continue making a positive impact on the pupils' achievements through a personalised approach.
• Great communication with the Class Teacher.
• Maintain high expectations for pupils and monitor progress.
• Use initiative to adapt activities to meet pupils' needs and support the wider school.
