Job summary

Locking Primary School in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (SEND 1:1) to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Qualifications

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND.
• Experience delivering speech and language/physiotherapy/occupational therapy programmes.
• Experience with children with complex needs.
• Level 3 in early years or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across all year groups using TEACHH approach.
• Deliver targeted interventions to aid learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support inclusion and progression.
