Job summary

Tick Education are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants in Cambridgeshire to join our supportive team. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

This is a rewarding, temporary role with a daily rate of £100-£105. A minimum of 3 months experience with children, and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience working with children
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• SEN experience desirable but not essential
• Caring, patient and resilient
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs
• Genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
• Support behaviour management and emotional regulation where required
