Job summary

Tick Education Limited in Cambridgeshire are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for temporary roles. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, working 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access learning and build confidence.

Applicants should have at least 3 months' experience with children; Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one; and a caring, patient approach. Rate of pay is £100-£105 per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months working with children.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience with SEN desirable but not essential.
• Careful, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
• Support behaviour management and emotional regulation where required
