Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is partnering with a vibrant primary school in Ashby-de-la-Zouch to recruit a Teaching Assistant for regular relief cover, starting ASAP. The role focuses on SEN support and 1:1 pupil assistance within an inclusive classroom.

You will join a team emphasising collaboration to meet ambitious student progress goals, while maintaining high standards and a supportive, safe learning environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational environment with children aged 4–11.
• Willing to support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc (RWI).
• Current Enhanced DBS on update service or willing to obtain a new one.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support or small group assistance to pupils.
• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive learning environment.
• Support children with SEN to enable progress and inclusion.
