Job summary

Hays Education are working with inclusive primary schools in the Sparkbrook (B11) area who are looking to appoint caring SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Support Assistants for the new academic year starting in September 2026. • Experience supporting children with SEN
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Patient, empathetic and resilient
• Experience with 1:1 or small group interventions

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
• Support children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs
• Implement strategies to support behaviour and engagement
• Encourage independence and social development
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
