Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Rochford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school with a strong focus on inclusive education. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning, create a safe and engaging environment, and assist with classroom activities while encouraging student participation.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting children with SEN and helping them grow.
• Experience or understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and other SEN.
• DBS on update service or willingness to apply.
• Positive attitude and ability to follow guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group learning support.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning experiences.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom activities and encourage participation.
• Support across early years to young adulthood as needed.
