Job summary

Prospero Teaching in London area is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 and small groups in a diverse two-form entry primary school in Merton, South West London.

The role starts September 2026, is full-time, 8:15am-3:30pm, term time only, with GBP100-GBP115 per day depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have SEN TA experience, safeguarding training, GCSEs in English and Maths, and a commitment to helping pupils access learning and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience as SEN TA or TA in SEND settings.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4+.
• Safeguarding training within last year desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support.
• Assist with learning, behaviour support, and classroom activities.
• Help pupils access learning and progress.
