Teach Plus is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Brent, starting January 2027. This full-time role focuses on 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.

You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO, implementing tailored strategies and monitoring progress to ensure every child makes steady academic and emotional development within an inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting children with additional learning needs.
• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support for primary-aged pupils with SEND.
• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and other needs.
• Implement IEPs, personalised learning strategies and targeted interventions.
• Encourage independence, communication and positive social interactions in class.
• Collaborate with class teachers and SENCO to ensure curriculum access.
• Monitor progress and wellbeing, adjusting strategies to individual needs.
