Job summary

Engage Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for an outstanding primary school in Mitcham. The role is full-time and long-term, paying £95 per day. You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assisting teachers with differentiated activities and helping create an inclusive classroom.

The school values pupil wellbeing, progression and a supportive environment. DBS checks are required and full assistance will be provided by Engage Education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting.
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred.
• Patience, adaptability and a genuine passion for helping children achieve potential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum.
• Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions.
• Help create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of SEN programme.
