Job summary

Principal Education seeks caring SEN Teaching Assistants to work in inclusive primary schools across Ealing. You will support children with autism and communication needs, in a full-time role through July 2027, with emphasis on calm, consistent adults.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, use visuals and routines to help regulation, and collaborate with a SENCO to reach EHCP targets while assisting with personal care where needed.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• Patience, empathy and composure when the day gets hard.
• Full time availability, Monday to Friday, term time.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application.
• Overseas police clearance if you've lived abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, in class and at play.
• Use visuals, routines and sensory strategies to help children regulate.
• Work with the class teacher and SENCO towards each child's EHCP targets.
• Help with personal care where needed.
• Build the trust that makes children feel safe and ready to learn.
