Here at Randstad Education, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a student with special educational needs in our vibrant primary school in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the life of a child, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs (SEN), both academically and socially.
  2. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement individualized learning plans.
  3. Assist with adapting lesson materials and activities to meet the student's specific needs.
  4. Promote inclusion, independence, and self-confidence in the student.
  5. Monitor and track the student's progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  6. Support the development of key skills, including communication, social interaction, and self-regulation.
  7. Work collaboratively with other professionals, including speech therapists and educational psychologists, as required.

What are we looking for:
  1. A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant, SEN qualifications, or equivalent).
  2. Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a one-on-one setting.
  3. Strong understanding of SEN and strategies for supporting children with a range of learning needs.
  4. Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. A commitment to supporting the inclusion and well-being of all students.

Why You Should Apply:
  1. Referral Bonus: Earn up to GBP300 for successful referrals.
  2. Professional Development: Access ongoing CPD and career growth opportunities, supported by a dedicated consultant.
