The Supply Register is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Brent-based school. You will support teaching staff in delivering education and care for students with SEN, assisting with classroom activities, one-to-one and small group support, and implementing personalised learning plans.
You will work closely with teachers to adapt resources, monitor progress, and help students develop independence and social skills in a supportive environment.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will support teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and care for students with special educational needs. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help implement personalised learning plans to meet individual student needs.
Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable. Understanding of SEND strategies and educational support techniques. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous.
