Job summary

Academics is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in the Macclesfield area. You will bring a kind, caring personality and a professional approach to helping SEN students in both mainstream and SEN settings.

The role involves 1:1 support and adapting to each student’s personal needs to enable progress. We welcome candidates with experience in UK primary schools and the ability to support a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and related behaviours.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in UK primary schools.
• Ability to support a range of SEN needs and small groups.
• Specialist experience with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, behaviour, LDs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for SEN students across settings.
• Assist students to progress and meet personal goals.
• Support classroom activities and adapt resources as needed.

SEN Teaching Assistant
