Job summary

Mana Education are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for an alternative provision academy in Swadlincote. You will support pupils who have been excluded or at risk, working 1:1 or with small groups to aid communication, emotional regulation and independence.

The ideal candidate will be calm, patient and adaptable with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion. Previous UK school experience is desirable; teaching assistant qualifications are

Mana Education are urgently recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for an alternative provision academy for pupils who have been, or are at risk of being, excluded from mainstream schools.

We are looking for caring, patient and dedicated individuals to support children and young people.

We Welcome Experience In:

• SEMH
• Trauma-Informed Practice
• Complex Medical Needs
• ADHD & Emotional Regulation

You may work:

• 1:1 with pupils
• Assisting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and independence
