Are you someone who is keen to support students with Special Educational Needs? Here at Axcis, we have a great opportunity to work within a school in Stafford, Staffordshire as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant. You will support students with a range of Learning Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

Opportunity Details:

1. To become a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
2. To support students with ASD and SEMH
3. £90 - £105 per day, depending on skills and experience
4. Term Time Only
5. Based in Stafford, Staffordshire
6. Starting ASAP until the end of the academic year, Monday to Friday, 08:30am-3:30pm
7. Full-time and Part-time options available
8. Flexible hours available

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working 1:1 or 2:1 with students, building successful relationships with respect and consideration
2. Attending to pupils’ personal needs and following EHCPs, including assisting with personal care when required
3. Providing support inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in activities
4. Ensuring that care plans are followed at all times
