Job Title: Teaching Assistant

About the role:

You will support young adults aged 16-25 in a college setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, activities, meal preparation, life skills, social skills, and fostering independence. Experience with individuals with autism, challenging behaviours, or ADHD is essential.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, young people, and adults with emotional behaviour disorders, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.

Salary:

PAYE payments start from £11.50 plus holiday pay. Umbrella rates start from £14.57.

Requirements:
  • Experience supporting individuals with additional needs
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS clearance
Shift Times:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30-16:30
  • 9:00-15:30
  • 9:00-16:00
  • Term time only
