SEN Teaching Assistant

£90 - £95 per day

About The School:We are partnered with a specialist SEN provision based in Spalding, providing tailored education for pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including autism spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and communication challenges. The school prides themselves on their nurturing approach and inclusive ethos.

The Role:We are looking for a supportive, enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work alongside experienced teaching staff and therapists to help create a positive, engaging learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual and small groups of pupils with learning activities, sensory needs, and emotional development
• Help implement personalised learning plans in line with EHCPs
• Promote independence, communication, and life skills through structured routines
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Assist with personal care and mobility support where required
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs
• Is patient, reliable, and resilient in the face of challenges
• Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team
• Has relevant experience (preferred) or is willing to learn through ongoing training
• Holds, or is working towards, a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3)
