A large SEN primary school in Tottenham is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves working closely with students requiring additional support and fostering an environment that promotes independent learning while ensuring their academic progress. The successful candidate will have experience in a primary setting with strong behavior management skills and be required to obtain a DBS if not already held.

Qualifications

  • Experience required in a primary classroom setting.
  • Must hold DBS or willing to apply through Remedy.

SEN Teaching Assistant Tottenham,Haringey Immediate Paid Interviews

A large SEN primary School located in Tottenham, North London are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP to work with students KS1. As an SEN Teaching assistant, you will be working in a team of 2 rotating between 2 students with different needs - Global Delay, Downs Syndrome and ASD.

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: 30 Hours per week

Location: Edmonton, North London

Rate: 90 - 115 Per Day

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • To help promote independent learning.
  • To help reinforce learning.
  • Have great interacting skills.
  • To develop study and organisational skills.
  • To help keep the students on task and to build motivation.
  • To model good practice.
  • Have a good use of initiative.

Requirement SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working within a primary classroom
  • Good behaviour management and organisational skills
  • SEN experience
  • You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Remedy
