Job summary

Astro Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in Cheshire East, including Sandbach, Crewe, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible part-time and full-time options with competitive daily pay and weekly pay.

The successful candidate will work one-to-one with pupils with SEN, especially those with Autism, supporting learning inside and outside the curriculum and collaborating with teachers to implement EHCP goals.

Pay: £95–£100 per day (DOE) | Paid weekly

Overview

Astro Education is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support schools in Cheshire East (Sandbach, Crewe, Holmes Chapel, Nantwich, Alsager, Haslington, Congleton & Macclesfield).

The role involves working one-on-one with students who have SEN (Special Educational Needs), providing tailored support both within and outside of the standard curriculum to meet each student’s individual needs, as outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with SEN, particularly those with Autism. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher to support the student but will also be expected to work independently, building a strong and supportive relationship with them.
