We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a primary school in Reading, UK. If you have a caring nature and a desire to support students in their learning journey, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN)
Assist with personal care where required
Help implement individual learning plans (IEPs)
Support students with emotional and behavioural needs
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Work alongside teachers and other support staff to ensure every child’s needs are met
Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting (though not essential)
Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to support children's development
Good communication skills with students and staff
Team player with a flexible, adaptable approach
A level of understanding of the SEN Code of Practice is beneficial

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
