We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Peterborough, supporting pupils with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD & SLD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need extra support to thrive in their education.
The Role:
Support students with MLD and SLD, both 1:1 and in small groups.
Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
Use a range of strategies and resources to promote engagement and independence.
Assist with personal care routines (if required) in a respectful and dignified manner.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
About You:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
Calm, resilient, and empathetic nature.
Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
A proactive and flexible approach to day-to-day tasks.
