Job description

Blackfriars Academy is seeking a Permanent Teaching Assistant to join our school community.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN pupils and will support teaching staff by providing specific assistance in caring for pupils and managing the classroom. Responsibilities may include working within or outside the main teaching area, personal care of students, administering medication, and manual handling. This role is rewarding and essential in offering our students the life chances they deserve. Our students are hardworking, polite, and resilient, making this a role filled with both joy and challenge.

Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 15:45, term time only plus 5 inset days.
