Job summary

St Elizabeth’s Centre in Much Hadham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for term-time employment. The role supports learners with varying needs and works closely with teaching staff to deliver inclusive learning experiences.

You’ll help individuals develop communication and independence in a safe, supportive environment, with training provided for medication administration and personal care as required.

Qualifications

• Calm, kind, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• Experience in an education or care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Confident communicator who can engage positively with children with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups with learning, communication and independence.
• Assist in delivering tailored lessons meeting individual education plans.
• Promote a positive classroom environment that values diversity, respect and emotional wellbeing.
• Provide personal care and administer medication when needed (with full training provided).

• You’re someone who’s calm, kind, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others succeed
• You don’t need formal education qualifications or experience to apply, just the right attitude and a willingness to learn
• Experience in an education or care setting is desirable but not essential
• Confident communicator who can engage positively with children who have learning disabilities
• Able to support with personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect
• Strong team player with good ICT and organisational skills
• Ready to learn, grow and be part of something meaningful

Tues: 8:30am - 5:00pm
