About the role
Connex Education is working with a pupil referral unit who are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant working with children from KS3/KS4 who are at risk of exclusion or permanent exclusion from mainstream schooling.

About the School/Organisation:
The school caters for KS3/KS4 pupils with a range of learning difficulties who are functioning below age-related expectations, including SEMH. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children using EHCPS in order for them to meet their goals.They are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is hardworking, resilient and who is passionate about making difference in children’s lives.
Assignment Details:
The position requires you to work full time Monday – Friday from September 2025 (times will be given prior to the start date).
It is important that you are comfortable and experienced working/supporting young people with varied special educational needs as many of the pupils you support will have SEND / SEMH.
