Instead of just managing a classroom, you will be transforming a young person's educational experience. Acting as a dedicated SEN TA / Behaviour Support Worker, your days will involve supporting pupils dealing with complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH), alongside neurodiverse conditions like ADHD and ASC.
You will be placed within inclusive mainstream or specialist alternative provisions right here in Kirklees. As a vital SEN TA / Behaviour Support Worker, your focus will be on reading the room, catching triggers before they elevate, running targeted small-group interventions, and acting as a steady, reliable mentor for students who find the traditional classroom layout overwhelming.
