Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated role in a Bradford-area specialist setting to support pupils with SEND and behavioural needs. This role involves delivering 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, and contributing to a calm, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

You will collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff, applying de-escalation techniques and maintaining a positive learning environment with flexible, supply-based assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or behavioural needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Ability to follow support plans and adapt strategies
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

About the Role

You will support pupils with a variety of needs, including: Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) Autism (ASC) Behavioural needs Communication and interaction difficulties Learning difficulties

• 1:1 SEND support
• Behaviour mentoring
• Classroom-based support
• Small-group intervention work
• De-escalation and pastoral support

Assignments are offered on a supply basis through The Supply Register.
