Job summary

Career Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties in a primary setting in Croydon. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, with a daily rate of 93–110 and ASAP start.

The ideal candidate will have recent primary school experience, a current DBS (update service) or be willing to obtain one, and a proactive, creative approach to learning. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to make a positive impact.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualification of supporting children with ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
• Recent experience within a primary school.
• DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN under the direction of the class teacher/SENCO.
• Be creative and proactive in approach to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support children's learning outcomes.

Career Teachers is working with a primary schools based in Lambeth who are looking for experienced teaching assistants to support children with SEN Needs.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have experience or qualification of supporting children with ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
• Have relevant and recent experience within a primary school.
• Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one.
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Be creative & proactive in approach to learning.
• Carry out duties as directed by the class teacher/Senco
• Good team player who can make an impact on the outcome of the children's learning.
• Have the right to work in the uk.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
