Job summary

Career Teachers are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a state-of-the-art secondary SEN school in Croydon. The position is full-time and paid per day, supporting students with Autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs across lessons and activities.

You will collaborate with teachers to adapt materials, provide 1:1 or small-group support, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with ASD or additional needs
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient in supporting diverse needs
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Sports Coaching, PE, SEN Support) are desirable but not essential

Responsibilities
