SEN Teaching Assistant

Locations: East London (Hackney, Waltham Forest, Romford)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £480 - £580 per week
Start Date: ASAP

Experience in a similar role is essential, and this is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in health care support, youth work, sports coaching, behavioural management, or special education.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils in their learning, helping them engage and thrive in an inclusive environment
Assisting with personal care needs and well-being, ensuring safety and comfort
Encouraging positive interactions, development, and social engagement
Helping prepare and organise the classroom to maintain a structured learning space
Collaborating with SEN-trained staff to deliver tailored support
