Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with severe social and communication needs in a 1:1 setting. You will help with literacy and numeracy, and contribute to a calm, structured classroom routine.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with severe social and communication difficulties.
• Ability to assist with literacy and numeracy in a 1:1 or small-group setting.
• Calm, patient approach to managing anxious or frustrated states.

The Role

You will offer behavioural guidance, supporting through moments of anxiety and frustration with a calm, patient approach. You will support the student with literacy, numeracy, and other classwork, assisting the class teacher with maintaining a calm, purposeful environment.
