Job summary

Randstad Education in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with social and communication difficulties, helping them build essential skills for greater independence. This role focuses on 1-1 support in a nurturing setting.

You will provide behavioural guidance, staying calm through moments of anxiety, and assist with literacy, numeracy and other classwork alongside the class teacher to maintain a purposeful learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with social and communication difficulties.
• Ability to work well in a 1-1 setting and as part of a team.
• Strong literacy and numeracy foundations.
