Job summary

Reeson Education in East London is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant professionals for September 2026 across Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford and Highams Park. Qualifications

• Experience as SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant for pupils with additional needs.
• Support small intervention groups as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Work with children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language needs as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Assist the class teacher and SENCO as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
